Day 1 of my Juice FEAST!!!!!

Wow, I can't believe it's here... I've finally started my feast!

For the past week and a half I have been doing 2 quarts juice, 1-2quarts green smoothies, and 1 salad per day. A good friend of mine had their birthday on thursday and so I joined them for a few cocktails. What's a few cocktails between friends, right? WRONG. I had my drinks and was in bed by 11:30pm but woke up at 5:30am with a raging headache! The cleaner you get the more alcohol effects you. We all know this but, like I said from day one, socializing is going to be the hardest thing for me to give up. Part of me thinks, ugh, why did I do that?!? But the other part says, I like to have a few cocktails every now and then! Am I bad? Am I naughty?? I never said I was perfect...anyway, I learned my lesson then!

Last night I had quite the raw feast to celebrate my last day of solid food. My cousin gave me two glorious mangoes and I devoured them on the spot along with a huge mixed green salad and my last taste of hemp seed pesto for the next 100 days!

Today I feel fab, this is exactly how it is supposed to be. It was 80deg and sunny here in Austin today. I took full advantage of the beautiful day! My fabulous cousin and I did a quick 6mile loop around Town Lake with baby Charlotte and Strazh. Then I met my new bf Danish (what up Dana?!) and we had a blast hiking and basking in the sunshine. Later we stopped at Whole Foods and I helped him make an amazing raw salad which he loved. Do I smell another convert on my hands? :)
Raw Food is awesome, period.

Today was sooo juicy, I had:
1 quart tomato/red pepper/celery/beet/butter leaf lettuce/arugula/lemon juice
1.5 quarts OJ with 1T wheat grass and 1T spirulina
1 pint OJ with 1T MSM
1 pint Gold 360 tea
1 quart spinach/parsley/apple/ginger/lime juice
