Juice - Days 5 & 6

Days 5 & 6 were pretty much the same:
1 qt parsley/cucumber/celery/apple/grape/lemon
1 qt pineapple/cucumber/mint
1.5 qt watermelon juice

It's interesting, last time on the juice feast I was drinking lots of juice, 5-7 quarts daily. This time I am rarely drinking 4 qts! I think it is probably because I have a super sleek juicer now and my juices are much more nutrient dense than using the Vitamix blend/strain method. I have the Omega 8005 juicer and I LOVE it! It's a super efficient masticating juicer so doesn't heat the juice, preserves the nutrients and enzymes longer AND it's super easy to clean!

Things are still moving along effortlessly. I feel like I could keep juicing forever! Although I must admit, today I was surfing around and found Gena's blog chocked full of simple, beautiful recipes and TONS of info, especially for newbies. I read the whole thing from start to finish! I absolutely LOVE her blog, you must go check it out!!! She's got me pretty excited to try some of her fabulously simple creations! I am going to juice until Tuesday like I planned and then see how I feel. If I am ready to start eating solids again I may go another week doing primarily juice with 1 raw meal a day. Another thing I've been considering is fasting 1 day a week. That would be such an amazing practice! I would really love to incorporate it as a part of my life!

Great blog! And way to go on the juice fast - a great way to quickly detox. I used to juice a lot but have gotten lazy lately - however, I think you have inspired me! Thanks :)
