Getting Juicy!

Everyone is so juicy right now!

Penni and Courtney are blogging about their juice feasts and I love it!

My beautiful, vibrant, wise, amazing friend Alicia is also juice feasting for 5 days and it has been truly amazing to hear about her experience. She's been like an energizer bunny getting everything done, running, and feeling light and fabulous!!

I've been getting juicy myself! For the last three days I've been juicing all day (usually about 3 quarts) and then having a simple salad for dinner. I've been feeling amazing too!! I'm not emotionally ready to do another juice feast like I did last spring but I am still reaping the amazing benefits of mostly juice and a nice salad for din.
I've also gotten into a fabulous new routine!
Every morning I've been doing 5t5's (the 5 Tibetan rights) followed by a body circuit routine that is a mish-mash of some of my fav exercises:
1x10 squats
1x10 lunges
1x3 handstands held as long as possible
1x10 hip raises (this website calls them butt raises)
1x10 push ups
1x10 roll back jump ups (start standing. all in fluid motion; squat down, roll back onto the floor in a tuck position, roll all the way back onto the upper neck and back down again into squatting position. From the squatting position on the floor, jump up straight with straight arms over head) - this probably makes no sense but it's a great exercise that we used to do as a warm up while I was diving. It really gets the blood flowing and the heart rate pumping!
I repeat this circuit as many times as I want. It just goes to show, you don't need to go to a gym to get a great workout!
I've also started skin brushing and lathering up with coconut oil. Yumm, it feels so niiiiiiice!
